In partnership with our venues, Black Box, Galway and Civic Theatre, Tallaght we are proud to offer increased numbers of wheelchair accessible spaces in the auditorium for all performances.

To book your ticket for a wheelchair accessible space contact the box office directly where you can advise them of your requirements. See venue specific information below.

We are also happy to provide Audio Description and Irish Sign Language Interpretation at a number of shows. Further information can be found below.

  • Main entrance has ramp access.
  • There are numerous accessible parking spaces in the Dyke Road Car Park.

Civic Theatre, Tallaght

Book by phone on 01 462 7477 or email boxoffice@civictheatre.ie and advise the box office of your requirements. It is not possible to book wheelchair accessible seating online.

For performances of No Magic Pill, the main auditorium has an increased number of wheelchair bays, there are 7 spaces available.

Companion Tickets

For patrons who may not be able to attend the theatre unaccompanied, Civic Theatre offers concession prices for you and your companion. These must be booked through the Box Office.

  • If entering from the car park, there is ramp access.
  • Fully accessible toilets.
  • Loop available.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • There are 7 accessible parking spaces on site.
    • Civic car park opens from 4pm daily and is free of charge.
    • Entrance located on Old Blessington Rd, white gates.
    • Parking before 4pm is available in the Square Shopping Centre.

Irish Sign Language Interpreted

Irish Sign Language (ISL) is the sign language used in the Republic of Ireland. The language makes use of space and involves movement of the hands, body, face and head. These performances are interpreted by an ISL interpreter who interprets what a person says or signs simultaneously, or immediately afterwards.
