Irish Sign Language (ISL) is the sign language used in the Republic of Ireland. The language makes use of space and involves movement of the hands, body, face and head. These performances are interpreted by an ISL interpreter who interprets what a person says or signs simultaneously, or immediately afterwards.
Audio Description (A.D.) is a live verbal commentary providing information on the visual elements of a production as it unfolds, from sets, props and costumes to actors’ facial expressions and movements. Audio Description is delivered via an individual headset. Please book your headset in advance by contacting the venue's box office.
The Touch Tour provides context about the show to allow blind and partially sighted members of the audience to familiarise themselves with the design of the space, costumes and props ahead of the show itself. It can also be of benefit for neurodivergent patrons and is open to those who are not in a position to attend the show itself. The touch tour will take place prior to the matinee performance (with audio description) at each venue.
